Hello!

Sarah sits in a chair in front of a teal wall. They're smiling softly, looking at the camera. They have short curly hair, glasses, and have tattoos on their right arm. To their side is a mug of tea, house-shaped pen holder, and leafy plant.

My name is Sarah (they/them

). As a therapist (and a person) I will take you and your needs seriously and celebrate your joy.

I’m interested in who you are and will show up responsively, attentively and with care. I love curiosity and how new possibilities emerge through exploration. Whatever you intend to explore about yourself in therapy, I will offer my collaboration and commitment.

I am sharing some pieces of my identities as these are parts of myself that come with me into our therapy space. I am white, queer, (later-in-life-diagnosed) neurodivergent, ethnically jewish (and anti-zionist), spiritual, a friend and family member of both birth and chosen families, a maker of things, tea drinker and sky appreciator.

I am a board certified art therapist (ATR-BC, #20-184) and licensed professional counselor (LPC, PC014791). I hold a master’s degree in Art Therapy & Counseling from Drexel University (2018). I have provided individual and group psychotherapy (talk therapy) and art therapy in a variety of settings including community outpatient sites and substance use programs. I have offered therapeutic arts-based workshops with partners including Fabric Workshop and Museum and Space 1026. I have additional training in Somatic Attachment Therapy from The Embody Lab, Topographies of (Dis)Connection: Re-membering Self, Community, and Land training series from The Institute for the Development of Human Arts, Radical Mental Health First Aid from N’deye Oumou Sylla, and the Art Hive model of art therapy from the Art Hives Summer Institute.
